To conclude 2023, xydrobe partnered with Dr. Barbara Sturm to create "Pause", a unique immersive wellbeing experience that invited guests to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect through a journey of calm, mindfulness and sensory restoration which featured at both Frieze London and inside London pop-up location for a month long activation.

Blending physical and virtual environments, "Pause" was designed as a holistic escape where every element worked in harmony to create a moment of stillness. Guests were welcomed into a tranquil garden-inspired sanctuary before embarking on an exclusive experience within the xydrobe Pod, in guided meditation. Through bespoke visuals, immersive spatial audio, scent and gentle environmental effects, audiences were transported into a peaceful virtual landscape designed to encourage relaxation and reflection.

Every aspect of the experience was designed and produced in-house by xydrobe. From the creative concept and immersive narrative to the bespoke CG environments and sensory choreography, each element was carefully crafted to embody Dr. Barbara Sturm's philosophy of balance, wellbeing and anti-inflammatory skincare.

The physical environment extended the experience beyond virtual reality, transforming the space into a lush botanical oasis that engaged guests through touch, taste and nature-inspired design. Together, the physical installation and immersive technology created a seamless journey that reflected the brand's commitment to wellness through innovation.
